I am a big fan of cartoons. I get it that people are drawn to cartoons. It’s just that they are drawn to them that I don’t, and therefore I enjoy watching them the same way I enjoy watching a funny or interesting person.

I’m on the same page with him about cartoons being funny. I actually have a book (written in a cartoon) about the process of drawing cartoons with my good friend Dave. It’s called Drawing Cartoon.

To be fair, Dave was one of my favorite professors at the University of Southern California. He gave us some really great workshops on drawing cartoons, and the book is filled with pictures of him drawing cartoons.

Dave has this thing for getting into the heads of people and making them laugh. He was a founding member of the California Comic Strip Guild, and we even gave an award at the guild’s annual convention to his buddy John Stearns. He also had an amazing talent for drawing and performing in the field of comedy. I am proud to say that I am a big fan of his work (and his wife).

Cartoon cheese? Dave is a good example of the kind of self-aware person who makes good use of his own experiences and imagination. A person who has the ability to look at a situation and draw a comic from it. Cartoon cheese? That’s a nice thing to say.
